NSF Maker Partnership Resources for Teachers - MakerState STEM Education (2018-2021)

As Principal Co-Investigators of the NSF-funded Maker Partnership Program (Award #1742320), we partnered with eight schools to deliver STEAM project-based learning and teacher professional development. Our mandate from the NSF grant is to expand implementation of this program to schools in need in NYC and nationwide.

Verizon Foundation Phipps Neighborhood Program (2021 - 2022)

We partnered with Schools That Can to deliver a STEM education and staff training to five schools/community programs, with weekly project-based learning for over 500 students across five schools and community centers. Common Grant Application MASTER (Verizon).

Pinkerton Grant

We partnered with Schools That Can to train 12 teachers in four schools over three years, supporting them to continuously deliver STEM and coding education to a wider student population.

New York City Department of Education CS4ALL - Computer Science for All (2017)

We trained four cohorts of teachers in incorporating STEM/coding skill-building in the regular academic classes and received near-perfect 5 star ratings from each teacher cohort (NYC DOE Vendor #0463406362).

Mosholu Montefiore Community Center (MMCC) Summer STEAM Camps (2017)

We delivered seven weeks of STEAM Summer Camp (between July - August) for 12 community sites open to all students then living in homeless shelters in the Bronx.
